What is Sources of Strength?
Sources of Strength is a program which recognizes the strongest points of our community. The program focuses on support and resources for students, families and teachers to change unhealthy norms, and preventing suicide, substance abuse and bullying. The main goal of Sources of Strength is to provide direct connections between students and caring adults. Source of Strength: Peer Mission Statement.

Where can I find it?
Ask! There are many students and teachers in our community who have been trained and recognized as sources of strength. Of these sources, they can help get you the support you need. You can, also, learn more on the national website: https://sourcesofstrength.org/
How can I get involved?
Recognize who your sources of strength are! If you or someone you know is struggling, feel free to reach out to any source of strength. You may reach out to a student source who can get you in contact with a teacher source of strength. While students are nominated by their teachers to become a member of Sources of Strength, you can email [email protected] or [email protected] if you're interested!
